The program will re-air on Friday, August 12 at 4 pm, and Saturday, August 13 at 4 am.
Through poignant personal testimonials, passionate music and powerful dancers bodies in motion, Dance for Life: The Documentary paints a rare, you-are-there portrait of the generosity and compassion of Chicago's dance community over 20 years. The film features the dance companies that participated in the 2010 Dance for Life benefit performance and tracks the development of the world premiere finale. The documentary was produced by Scott Silberstein and filmed by the crew of dance and entertainment performance specialists from HMS Media.
