Free MP3 download from Susan Werner

No comments:
One of our favorite Cabaret artists, Susan Werner, is offering a free MP3 download of her unreleased song "BAD BAD BAD."

Here is a note from Susan on her latest release: "Eco-Guilt. We've all heard plenty about Catholic guilt and Jewish guilt. How 'bout some fresh, new and timely guilt? The free mp3 download this month is a song I wrote for all of us unevolved, backwards, MeatEating CarDriving EvianDrinking KnuckleDragging MouthBreathing People out there. Send to all of your friends with their Sigg water bottles - your car-free friends who bicycle everywhere - who lord their eco-conscious lifestyle over you - and then they ask if you could drive them to Home Depot. Puh-lease."

2010-2011 Season Announced

No comments:

Yesterday, details of our 2010-2011 season appeared in the Tribune and Sun-Times.

It promises to be another fantastic lineup. We're especially excited about the Auditorium debuts of Lizt Alfonso Dance Cuba and River North Chicago Dance Company; in fact, we're co-commissioning a new work by River North to the music of Miles Davis! We are welcoming back Auditorium favorites Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater (celebrating 50 years of Revelations) and the Eifman Ballet of St. Petersburg with Boris Eifman's Don Quixote, or Fantasies of a Madman. The State Ballet Theatre of Russia will enchant with Swan Lake, and of course we'll have Too Hot to Handel back for a 6th year.

Current subscribers can renew starting on Monday; at that time we'll also start taking group orders (10+). New subscriptions start May 10 (you just need to pick two or more; the more you pick, the more you save!) and single tickets go on sale on July 12 for Lizt Alfonso Dance Cuba and September 13 for the rest of the season. Call us at 312.431.2357 for details.
