Classes are starting soon and we all have to survive another
frigid and dark winter before spring break.

It doesn't have to be that way.
After all, why freeze in January when you can BURN?

Start the semester in style by experiencing the jazziest, swingingest Messiah you'll ever hear.

Too Hot to Handel brings together critically-acclaimed soloists Rodrick Dixon, Alfreda Burke and Karen Marie Richardson with an orchestra, jazz combo and the city-wide Too Hot Choir, creating an uplifting and exhilarating take on Handel's beloved oratorio.

You'll be amazed as different musical styles like jazz, bebop, gospel, classical and blues (and some even say country and rock 'n' roll) are effortlessly weaved together.

Watch Alvin Waddles' technically fierce cadenza
right before the "Hallelujah Chorus"
